Well; it would seem that this forum is needing input from our lovely 2009'ers! Hence this thread.

Discuss. =)

Yay our first one! Haha =)

I've been thinking about the short story; Poetry, I could do, but I think it might be a little to subjective for me to risk. Ive only ever really done song lyrics anywho... :uhhuh:

Hey everyone. :)

I'm doing EE2 for 2009. I'm not sure what type of major work I'm doing, but realistically I think I'll either do a critical response, short story or script.

I'm thinking short story really; like the majority of EE2 students. I feel we get enough critical response & analysis work in EE1.

HEY!

There's 6 in our class, but i reckon there will be 3 by the end of it.

I'm doing postmodern poetry focussing on the effects consumerism has on society (the distortion of perfection, disregard of tradition etc.)

I'm mainly doing poetry because i know i can't extend my thinking for long enough and stick to completing a good short story.

I did shitloads of work on my BOW & Journal during the 11-12 holidays, because i have effectively 6 major works and didn't want to be stressed off my feet when it gets to hand-in time.

I'm so excited!

almost our entire ext. 1 class is contemplating it [except about 1 or 2].

i'm doing a critical response to filipino post-colonial literature [namely, the works of jose rizal] - it's going to be so hard though, and i'm worried about it taking an overly historical focus.

Sup all.

I'll be doing critical response...

First idea I've had is something with a biblical focus. I'm not sure if that's the path I'll take since I haven't had a proper informative class yet for EEX2.

I'm still torn between both the critical response and a short story. I've had some potential ideas spring to mind throughout the past few weeks but I guess it all comes down to which ones I feel will work the best for me based on the fact that this still is a HSC assessment.

I guess I'm leaning towards creative though. Most of the 2U course is analytical and while we're doing short stories for an assessment in 3U for Crime Fiction I think I'd probably enjoy the freedom of having a break from the restrictions of that one genre all year if I pursue the creative option.

I'm really glad not everyone's decided exactly what they're doing already though, it makes me feel much calmer about the whole thing.

I'm doing EE2 this year/next year also :D

Doing a series of very short stories

Got my entire story set out, hoping to finish it by the start of term one :)

I don't think it'll take me even two weeks to write :D

Fingers crossed

I'm doing it.

I've known that I was going to do it ever since I first found out you could lol.

But now I'm actually here and apart from my medium (short story) I have no idea what I am going to do. And I'm kind of stressing out about that...

Me!

I'm probably doing an animation. (Edging towards more traditional methods unless I figure out how to use Adobe Flash >w<)

Just looking at the works of past students made my confidence disappear ):
