What are these two questions asking?

(a) Assess how compliance and non-compliance are demonstrated in the operation of consumer law.

(b) Why are there different legal protections for consumers and manufacturers/suppliers?

(a) Relates to the dot point 'issues of compliance and non-compliance' in the Themes and challenges. If you have either the Cambridge or Excel books, they will have a summary on the information to cover on this dot point.

e.g. A wide range of federal and state legislation operates to ensure that buyers and sellers comply with the law. Sanctions are imposed on parties who fail to do so.

(b) Provide reasons why consumers and manufacturers/supplier are governed by different legal protections.
e.g. They are at different positions on the supply chain, and therefore need different regulations.

Hope it helps.
