In part (i) the inequality has 1/(1+h), which is the antiderivative of ln(1+h). For the estimation, we’re finding ln(1+0.25), so therefore h (or rather x) is 0.25, which is subbed into the equation from (ii)

Can someone please explain why they let x = 0.25???
hey baulko actually copied this quesiton from cambridge (bc thats what they do, they also copy questions from a few other textbooks 💀) and just changed the numbers a bit so after u. figure this out have a go with the cambridge one
