bullcrap
i doubt you would get an E4 in ext 2 with that percentage
you need to get a scaled mark >= 45
so 90% scaled
so minimum low 80s on an easy exam

Considering E4 cut-off was 45-52/84 for MX1 in 2001, I don't understand why people are pulling out figures such as 70s and low 80s for E4.
Even 55/84 is too high for E4.

I reckon this year it might be around 43-50/84

your suggesting that you can almost fail the exam but still get the top band??
you might be right
but it does sound a bit far-fetched

it was an easy exam,
how can you think it wasnt?
aside the last question, which wasn't even that hard - just took ages to do - what else was the problem?
you got awarded a mark for drawing a diagram for one part lol

so you people really think getting <60% raw on a moderately easy exam and you expect to get the top ban?
lol...

you must remember that the 'new' NSW HSC was introduced in 2001 - with new formats and everything, so just like when anything is newly tested, adjustments need to be made.

i'd say the E4 cutoff this year would be around the low to mid 60's out of 84.
