abit confused about 2U (1 Viewer)

hey guys, I'm a bit confused on how the HSC for maths work after talking to a few of my peers and teachers :S
my questions is, will my 2U marks in class count towards anything? im doing EX1 and EX2 and also will i have to sit the 2U HSC exam ?

No if you do MX2 you wont sit the 2U exam nor do you get any marks for it.
If you do 4unit, MX1 = 2units and MX2 = 2units which give you 4 units combined

If you're doing Extension 2 then you won't have to sit the HSC for Advanced and hence won't have marks that are counted.

You do the test for 3U and 4U and each of these are worth two units.

oh thanks for that guys ! i was scared because my first 2U test, i didn't bother to study for and i thought it went towards something.

yeah they make you do the internal 2u exams so they have a assessment mark for you in case you drop down to 3u, so those marks could count if your not 100% sure ur going to keep EX2 through to the HSC exams

I meant the mark was worthless, not necessarily the actual subject.
