ACCG100 assignment, tips and help needed (1 Viewer)

Just wandering if any of u ECFS people did an accg100 assignment based on the questions and exercises in the small textbook called "generic skills in accounting".

If u did, i was jsut wandering if u can give some advice and help/tips to the 1 yr newbies

on a more general note, you need to combine your answering skills with generic skills, as in writting letters using correct register, etc.

Generic Skills is easy, just (as with anything), don't leave it to the last minute. Read through the book (but don't mark it - you can resell it at the end of the semester that way), becasue it explains what the conventions of whatever you've gotta do are (ie the standard memo layout, how to write a letter, etc). Those will also be the standards the markers will be using.... that's about all the help I think can be given... If you're really curious ask your tutor for the marking scheme (or they may have already given it to you).

If ACCG100 is anything like ACCG105, the generic skills assignments (plural) are like 5% total, so not worth worrying about so much. Do them, get rid of them; don't stress over them, use your time for more productive things.

accg100 had only one generic skills last year...and yeah don't stress..its just writing letters and stuff...just be careful how you word things, and use proper grammer....etc...

i did accg105.. we had 2 generic skills assignments...
some of the tasks were the same as the accg100 unit....

its piss easy.. you don't need tips on how ot write letters/memos do ya?
oh and if your stuck for layout, ms word templates are your friends!!
