Hi! I'm Crystal Lin, a second year university student studying laws/media, pursuing either journalism or law for future career aspirations. In high school, english, particularly creative writing and textual analysis, were my passions and favourite subject areas and now I am a high school English tutor, offering year 7-10 English tutoring for $40/hour or preliminary & HSC English Advanced, Extension 1 and Extension 2 tutoring $45/hour. First lesson is at a discounted rate of $35/hour, and it is obligation-free.

I received a band 6 in English Advanced (96%) and ranking 10th internally, E4 in English Extension 1 (47/50) and a high E3 in English Extension 2 (44/50) during the HSC, where I have already accumulated 1-2 years of tutoring experience, tutoring high schoolers and helping some improve from getting low marks to a high band 6 in the HSC. I teach with my own tailored resources and run lessons online via zoom or google meet.

There is a discount available, if you choose to do more than 1 hour lessons per week. (For Y11-12 students, the 1st hr is at the standard rate of $45/hr, and the 2nd hr is at the discounted rate of $35/hour and for Y7-10 students, the 1st hr is at the standard rate of $40, and the 2nd hr is at the discounted rate of $30/hour).
