Is anyone doing it?
Had a quick look and it overlaps strongly with my SDD option topic, was considering making the most of it and study that instead of wasting my time with astrophysics

Is anyone doing AOS, doesn't seem to be very popular

why is age of silicon so unpopular? Doesn't seem that difficult and I want to study it but the fact that only 2% did it last year is making me cautious

well, try the questions from last yr's paper and see if u can do most of them
and since u've done topic10 from software, it should b ok
but ask your teacher beforehand, on whether its a good idea or not

how does that work?
do they teach everyone their specific option or do u learn it yourself?

Im doing Age Of Silicon - God damn Easy !!

Our Physics teacher is cool, He let the whole class do whatever option topic they wanted to do, we have bout 12 students in our class

1 did astrophysics

2 did quantum to quarks

I was the only one to do age of silicon

and the rest did medical physics

The AOS experiments are so cool, like to mess around with LDR's and the theory part is a joke if ure into electronics, simple stuff.

And since I also do SDD the option topic is same as AOS :D

Our teacher lets us do our own independant study and gives us each our own worksheets and helps us indiviually if we got any probs.

Everyones happy dat way.

To be honest, a week is all i needed to fully understand and grasp AOS topic, 40 days will be more than enough, just make sure u understand it and use the Jaccaranda Book, and as u said earlier it will also help u in ure SDD topic.
