hoi!
im currently trying to write up a practice essay on gwen hawood with the essay topic:
"why is Harwood's Poetry still relevant to responders in the twenty-first century"
the only arguement i can think of is that her poetry is timeless. and that her themes and passions reflected in her poems are common to our everyday lives such as the cycle of life, growth, knowledge, music and love.
how can i make my arguement more sophisticated?
i was wondering if any of you guys have any other suggestions to how i can approach this topic?
btw in class so far we have only analysed Glass Jar and Alter ego, tommorrow is prize giving. SO specific examples on those poems will be great!
