top 50 school, idk what my ranks are but i can sort of guess, number of b6s in the course and what my school estimates my mark will be are also provided

mx2 - 25/43 - 30 b6s expected - b6 able
mx1 - 36/92 - 40 b6s expected - b6 able
chem - 40/62 - 18 b6s expected - b5 able
phys - 39/40 - 10 b6s expected - low b5 hopefully, possibly a b4
eng adv - 40/156 - 50 b6s expected - b6 able
ex1 - 28/37 - 15 b6 expected - can still b6 imo i just got cooked

my ranks are genuinely cooked and im out of band 6 range for a majority of my subjects but my cohort is extremely strong and i do believe i can lock in hard for hsc and comeback for the subjects that i got smoked for

is a 97 possible for me? idc if not achievable but im just saying can i acc still manage a 97 if i really really lock in

um meanwhile my personal opinion is that its not completely cooked, im doing the same subjects and while my ranks arent as low and my school rank might be higher, my ranks for a few subjects were like the same amt of cooked in sem 1 my atar estimate was 97+

i dont want to give you false hope tho but i think could be doable if chem and phys can be b5 at least and the b6s can be like 92 like so1756360895815.png

My estimate is slightly lower than iloveeggs, up to 96.5 but overall, you are definitely on track with an ATAR in the high 90s and definitely have a chance of reaching your desired ATAR. Your performance is favourable in most of your subjects, with your best-performing subjects being Mathematics Extension 2, Mathematics Extension 1 and English Advanced. This means that these subjects are likely to make the most significant contribution to your ATAR, because of which you must ensure that you do your best in their HSC exams.

Although not at the same level as the aforementioned subjects, your performance also seems favourable in English Extension 1 and, to a slightly lesser extent, Chemistry. This means that both subjects can make a positive contribution to your ATAR, although you can definitely improve that contribution by performing at a higher standard in their HSC exams.

On the other hand, Physics appears to be your lowest-performing subject. Although you are taking 11 units and this is the subject that will likely only contribute 1 unit (thus halving its negative impact on your ATAR), it can still be detrimental. As such, you should do your utmost to thoroughly prepare for your Physics HSC exam, which will hopefully allow you to improve your overall performance, bringing you closer to your ATAR goal.

I hope this helps! :D
