Hi. I'm not sure what the question is trying to say (esp. the tangent part)

Lines y=mx+2 and y=5x-9 intersect at an acute angle whose tangent is 2/5. Find the possible values of m.

If somene could tell me what the tangent part means, I can do the rest of the question.

when we say, tan x,
we are actually saying tangent x
(similarly, sin->sine, cos->cosine)

Therefore, "Lines y=mx+2 and y=5x-9 intersect at an acute angle whose tangent is 2/5." -> "Lines y=mx+2 and y=5x-9 intersect at an acute angle theta and tan theta=2/5."

Oh thanks. Should have seen that myself :( :)
