So I've come up with an idea to focus on for my PIP. It's still early days, but what I have so far is something along the lines of 'gender influences on mental health awareness in Australia', and would basically focus on determining whether gender and certain stereotypes associated with it (eg. the 'macho' image encouraged in males would be a factor in making some guys less likely to visit a doctor or something, stereotypes like that.) have any influence over awareness of certain mental illnesses, including risk factors and symptoms.
Hopefully that made sense xD. But yeah, I'm hoping that anyone here would be willing to offer any comments or input into whether or not this is a good PIP idea to focus on, or if perhaps I should consider changing something.. Any kind of constructive crit. is welcome.
