Given y'' = 8, y' = 0 and y=3, when x=1, find the equation of y in terms of x..

I just dont understnad what has to be done, thanks in advance.

lol this was in the other thread

y" = 8, for all x values. then you integrate and evaluate constants

Therefore, y' = 8x-8

Little mistake there Aerath;

3 = 4 - 8 + c
3 = -4 + c
c = 7

eq: 4x² - 8x + 7

The rest is all good =]
