Im using it as a related text, and all I can get from it is;
It reflects the needs of the victims of the holocaust to record their memories, as an attempt to create a greater truth within history.
- Would not have been regarded as history pre 1970s (Empiricist view), however regarded as hist now (Post modern).
-Oral history/video, allows gaps and silences to be filled eg 60k peoples recordings of the same event (holocaust). The medium of production allows for the gaps and silences to be filled as it contains P.O.V, allowing people to empathise and visualise with the participants of the event.
