not me,,,, but i dont understand why any1 would want too,,,, i mean as soon as u finish 2002 hsc, u have to go bak to school again,, no time to celebrate
how could u possibly go through all of that again seriously
I did that...business studies and english adv in 2001 and then 3/4u mathematics and chem in 2002. I think its a good way. Makes it easier to score highers marks in individual subjects.
one of my friends has done it over 2 yrs - but she had to cause she missed out on a terms worth of work the previos yr and could only catch up on so much
One of my friends is diabetic and got really sick at the beginning of yr 11 so she missed heaps.. instead of repeating, she moved to the american school at epping which allowed her to start again in august when their school year does... pretty nifty huh?!
2 girls from my year are doing pathways.. with their 2nd year being next year at TAFE
and 1 girl from the year head of me completed her HSC with our year.. she is a champion rower and missed a lot with all her rowing so thats why she did it....
If i was good enought to accelerate anything i would definitely... so much less stress by spreading it over a few yrs! Like the american system sort of..
I've done the HSC over 3 years. In 2000 I did 3 unit music, last year business studies, and this year all other 13 units.
It hasn't been bad at all. I did it because I was interested in the subjects that I accelerated in and it gave me an opportunity to get five units over and done with before I started year 12. And it gave me the opportunity to do cosmo, which is one of the best subjects.
Some people who have commitments like competitive sport or music start their HSC in year 12 by doing some subjects then and some in the following years.
