Would you get into a lab technician job with this degree?? Being a lab tech sounds fun, but I would guess the number of lab techs needed will go down in the next decade due to automation.

This reply may be late but science in general is hard in Australia because it's not valued as much. I personally wouldn't choose Bachelor of Medicinal Chemistry (if that's what you want to do, because you can't do much out here), I would rather go in Medical Science and major in medicinal chem

medicinal chemistry is more of a gateway into pharmacy if thats what your into. I don't think its a good degree because your just wasting a few years when you can get into pharmacy straight away
