ANU is not any university, its not an "other" university. Let it see the forum index with UNSW and Sydney

Yep. ANU needs to be in the normal categories. It's really quite a popular uni on this forum. There's always activity.

I brought this up a while back - I asked why we were in the 'other - regional unis' category and unis like charles sturt get to be in the main forum.

Its never really made sense... the answer I got is that anu is regional because its in canberra but charles sturt is in like Dubbo and Bathurst... come on!

I don't understand why there is an 'other' section at all...

Nah I dont, maybe next year though. If i do well though, I may end up at a Sydney uni, and im no longer sure if thats a good thing. Because as it is now, after the HSC i cant live at home, and boarding at ANU would simplify a hell of a lot (plus I really want to do Asian Studies instead of Business/Law at UTS or Commerce/Law at UNSW.)

Im for comm/law. Yes, ANU is regarded as one of the finest. The law cutoff remains at 95 despite its geographic location....If it was in Sydney itd be up there with syd and unsw.

actually...you know, law at SCU is 95 as well which I find amazing. Why the hell is that?
if you're being serious about wanting ANU on the main page if a few ppl PMed an admin I bet something could be done. I don;t have connections unfortunately.

no I was thinking seeing how scu is located in a crap area and the other course uais are so low the law cutoff would be lower than ANU, which is quite a prestigious institution. so the appeal to admins, are we going ahead with that?
