I know at some universities recordings are made of lectures so that students can access and relisten to them. Does sydney offer this?

thanks.

Some lectures are, some are not. Its mainly up to the individual lecturers themselves to decide whether they record lectures.

I've mainly only experienced myself in my history subjects because of clashes

If they're not recorded, are we allowed to bring in our own recorder and record?

Only half the history units I've done have recorded lectures, and no others. Though I've never heard any objections to people recording lectures themselves.

Indeed. Never seen anybody record a tute. There's no reason to do so.

I don't know how it works for humanities subjects but when I take a tutorial, I go over some problems on the board for 10min, so a voice recorder would hardly matter. In fact, if you need a voice recorder, you will be even more confused since you don't get the combination of speech and board.
