Are the questions in the Jacaranda textbook good?
Are they worth doing for each chapter?
Or is it better to do trial papers and past HSC papers?

I hardly did any out of Jacaranda chemistry. Every now and then my teacher set me some but that was the only time I did them.

Past paper questions to textbook questions ratio - probably 250:1

Textbook questions can definitely be helpful to look over while you're learning a concept, because they're often focused on testing your understanding of a specific concept. But I wouldn't spend tol much time on textbook questions; you're better off doing past paper questions, because they'll the same style of questions that you'll encounter in your actual HSC/trial exams.
