Saw this on some vid
1 mag takes 8sec to drop 20inch
2 took 5
3 took 3.5
4 took 3
Can someone explain this trend and y it occurs

are the magnets connected to each other or are they dropped after certain time intervals

The magnets themselves could be attracting or repelling each other (repelling most likely?) which would provide an additional net force on top of the weight force. This would minimise the effect of the retarding force formed by the eddy currents?

fair that makes sense --> the overall weight force should increase and hence the effect of the retarding force becomes less minimal..... so lower times
Low-key makes sense but I remember seeing somewhere that the mag field becomes more linear etc and wanted to know how this will affect the drop time
