School rank: 96

Year: 11

Advanced English: 86% 7/86
Mathematics: 88% 9/72
Geography: 80%. 2/11
Modern History: 79%. 4/30
Biology: 78%. 2/63 (but it isn't a very strong form doing it at our school).
SOR1: 100% 1/58 (but there's about 7 people I'm tied with because we've done 1 assessment which was ridiculously simple).
English Extension 1: 95%. 1/16 (I'm tied with 4 other people because we've only done 1 assessment)

So if I had similar ranks in year 12 where would you estimate my ATAR? Don't take SOR1 and extension english too seriously because we've only done 1 assessment.
Also what would I need for a 95+ ATAR?

You're looking at around 92-94. Improve your ranks slightly and match it up with a good externals performance to get 95+.

Hey, that's okay iRuler. Don't worry about it.

On j-uhrig, he's 2012 HSC, so I'm not sure why he's doing this anyway... he should be getting estimates, not giving them - methinks.

True, however I think we're saying that - as a general rule - it's better to only give estimates when you've actually done the HSC and seen it first hand.

He speaks the truth, you know a lot more once you've done it.

Around 95 give or take. If you were to count SOR and Extension English, you would probably by looking at an ATAR of about 96.

Yeh low 90's could push higher if you can get those marks out of low 80's, high 70's.

Good luck :)
