i would like an atar estimate too.
i go to cerdon college; ranked 110th in the top 200 of NSW as of 2014
- business studies:
> task 1: 29/30, ranked 1st and weighed 20%
> half yearlies: 77/100, ranked 7th/45 and weighed 20%, my progressive rank as of then was 3/44
> task 3: 51/55, ranked 2nd (by half a mark-.-) and weighed 30%.
> trial HSC: 79/100, ranked 8th/46 and weighed 30%
therefore - final/progressive rank as of now prior to actual HSC is 6/46.
- Community and family studies
> Assessment task 1: 18/20, not sure of rank and weighed 20%
> Assessment task 2 (IRP): 17/20, not sure of rank and weighed 25%
> half yearlies: 75/100, ranked 5/54 and weighed 15%, progressive rank as of then was 5/54
> task 4:25/35, not sure of rank, weighed 15%,
>Trial hsc: 80/100, ranked 8th/54
therefore final/progressive rank as of now prior to HSC is 8/54
- english standard
> task 1: 15/20, not sure of rank, weighed 15%
>task 2: 17/20, not sure of rank, weighed 15%
> half yearlies: 71/100, ranked 7/85, weighed 15% and my progressive rank as of then was 9/84
>task 4: 19/20, not sure of rank, weighed 15%
>task 5: 16/20, not sure of rank, weighed 15%
>hsc trials: 68/100, ranked 32/82, weighed 25%
therefore final/progressive rank prior to HSC is 10/85
- hospitality commercial cookery
> prelim mark as a percent, approx 92-93% - can't really remember, ranked 1st/8
>half yearlies: 88%, ranked 1st/7
> trials: 76%, ranked 1st/7
(ive heared these marks are not counted towards atar calculation if sitting the hospitality HSC as the exam itself is worth 100%)
final progressive - 1/7
- General Maths
> task 1: 36/49, not sure of rank, weighed 15%.
> half yearlies: 76/100, ranked 10/50, progressive rank as of then was 12/50, weighed 30%
> task 3: 30/44, ranked 18th, weighed 15%
> hsc trials: 73/100, ranked 3/50 (person ranked 2nd got a mark of around 84ish and person ranked 1st got a mark of around 85ish), weighed 40%
therefore final/progressive rank prior to hsc is 7/50
- Studies of Religion 1 (1 unit)
> task 1: 15/20, ranked 34/88, weighed 7.5%
no half yearlies
> task 2: 19/24, not sure of rank, weighed 10%
> task 3: 14/20, not sure of rank, weighed 12.5%
>hsc trials: 31/50, ranked 37/88, weighed 20%
therefore final/progressive rank prior to HSC is 31/89

i would like to achieve an 80 atar, is this still possible, if so, what would i need to get in my subjects in the actual HSC?
thanks - sorry for all the numbers!!!
