These are the sum of my weighted internal marks which would be submitted to BOS:

English Advanced - 73% (im guessing 20ish/50 but this could change quite a bit either way - i really dont know)
Chemistry - 78% (i think around 5/30ish)
Physics - 81% (just got in top 10 i think)
Economics - 83% (around top 10, but might not be IN top 10 - not sure)
Software Design - 91% (rank 1, ahead by atleast 5%)

My year advisor predicted my ATAR as being 80-85 which im happy with (want to get higher, but i wouldnt be dissapointed with around 85) but im just wondering how different this estimate is to peoples estimates on here. We unfortunately havent got our reports back and its a bit hard to estimate ranks until then, but ill try and guess. Rank 200-250ish school in the past few years, our cohort (particularly top 5 or so students) seems to be stronger then the last few though.

I mean your ranks aren't great for a 200+ school but your chem and software ranks are good. so maybe a little bit higher - 87+

When you say top 10, how many people are in the class.

School estimates are usually close to the actual ATAR; from that I would deduce 83.

Two classes for each, bit over 30 in them id say.

Main reason im asking is we had to go up and see the year advisor at lunch and he just looks at the marks and makes a prediction - no programs or formulas and its just his own personal estimate and not the schools. I think his estimate for me is accurate but for some friends i dont think he was as accurate.
