My school ranks(approx)
Physics: 5/28
Chemistry: 8/23
Music 2: 2/2 (>.<)
Mathematics ext 1: 1/17 (approx 97%)
MX2: 1/17 (approx 96%)
ESL: 1/17 (approx 97%)
School rank: about 135 in NSW

So I'm doing 12 units for HSC this year, just wondering how much ATAR am I aiming to get?
And if I can make a decent progression at science subjects in the real HSC, is it possible for me to get a 98+ or even 99+?

btw, as I'm a PR but studying ESL, do I need any additional tests to go to USYD?

Achieving a 98+ is indeed possible but you will definitely have to make an improvement in Physics and Chemistry for that to be a realisticaim.

If you're a permanent resident, then your ATAR will be enough for entry.
