I'm looking forward to this. I don't think the book is particularly good and I expect the film will be worse, but it still should be interesting.

That has to be the worst trailer ever though.
What is this film about? A train or some shit, you would think.

I did not like the book I must say. Rand's writing style is terrible and it's just such dreary shit about RANDIAN SUPERBESTS ETC.

I totes dig the whole rugged individualist stuff but I think Rand's just a fucking kook.

I read it when I was 15 and as is almost a cliche, I thought it was the greatest shit ever written and instantly became a libertarian

I have since come to realise just how bad it really is, but I guess this is why I still have some interest in it

The worst thing about the trailer is the modernisation of the setting. The book is about humans pushing the frontier and expanding into the unknown, which doesn't make sense in a world of mobile phones and internet. It should be a depression era ambiance. The world of the film looks more squeaky clean and progressive than our own.
