a) An enforceable law
b) An equitable law
c) A common law
d) A just law

The main question is; What's the difference between a just and equitable law?

Just law - treating everyone the same
Equitable law - treating everyone equally

You can treat someone the same but unequally :)

Yes and no. Yes in the sense that everyone should be treated fairly regardless of their race or gender or any other protected characteristic. However, treating someone fairly can sometimes mean having to treat them differently, in order to take into account their circumstances and enable them to participate on equal terms with everyone else.

Ok fair enough. However, shouldn't the person be treated equally despite circumstances. They shouldn't be treated "specially" but instead they should feel a sense of acceptance and comfort that they belong and if they wish they can express their voices. To be more fair you have to listen and be more accepting of their situations other wise they are going to feel marginalized because they are considered "different" to everyone else. - unfair
