with the selective obeying stuff im not suggesting that people should be obeying every rule, i think its stupid to expect christians to not mix fibres. i think the problem is a whole group of people using scripture written by one person millennium ago as a basis for their moral systems. i personally am not a fan of organized religion, if you find it benefits you thats awesome for you and im geninuely happy for you.I agree, a lot of scripture were written for different times, some stuff doesn't apply to today's society.
Like i'm pretty sure there's a difference between the old testament and the new testament (i'm not christian so i can't say)
It does sucks that people "selectively obey" it though.
It's like following only certain laws, then disregarding the others because it doesn't matter to them. (Not that religion is a set of rules)
