i searched and delved around this site in hope that i find some info on the IS course or even someone who is actually doing this course. but it seems that no-one actually cares about the IS people lol. its like they dont exist xD
and its technically a computing course yet its part of the school of commerce....
this course is confusing me already lol

how many people in a year actually DO info systems?
and whoever is also getting into the course give me a shout here?

You'll actually find that Info Sys is more the study of application of IT and information systems and their relation to business....not really "computing" as such...

they do have to do computing 1a and 1b in order to understand the application and practical side of IT. i did an infs subject as an elective. the main problem with it is that you can get so behind the trends that you'll be thinking 3 years behind everyone else when you finish your degree. IT really is for the adaptive thinkers out there.

If you did SDD or IPT in the HSC then you'll be starting off with pretty similar stuff to those courses
