what's the major diff between it and Bachelor of Science in Info Tech innovation if anyone knows? I've looked at the course outline and about half of the modules are the same (correct me if i've made a mistake pls), apart from the latter having more business modules
the course is the best IT course in sydney.
usyd and unsw dont compare when it comes to the facilities and the structure of the course.
1st semester subjects:
Object oriented programming (programmin with Java)
Principles of Distributed Computing (IPT crap)
Networking 1 (networking)
Information Classifaction and control (business/accounting)
OOP is a bit of work, but u get the hang of it.
PDC is a waste of time.. its just basic stuff.
NETworking is enjoyable, cause u learn alot. and theres alot of hands on shit
UNSW's B Comp Sci is regarded as the best IT course still, you should see some of the stuff the people there come up with its amazing, just too much maths for my liking.
dont all of you go applying for b sc IT at uts i want some spots left for me to transfer into!
remember when u go IT camp just before UNI..... dont go to the Lawson Cabin... cause its haunted. u dont really see anything, but all night you hear these sounds and stuff coming from that cabin, even when its empty. Quite ammusing in fact.
