I didn't for my trails, but I want to for the HSC.

If you are, where did you get all the information? All my texts books clearly thought it was a stupid thing to ask too and cover only one or two of them.

Ruse says you should know all of them
That they might ask speficially which battery to compare it to.

I called the advice line in regards to this issue..and the guy said that we need to know them all as the BOS can specify to compare wither lead-acid or dry to any of the batteries given in the syallabus...and i think if we read the syllabus that wat it says. But i doubt theyll do that..nevertheless its only good that u know somewhat bout all of them

you need to knoe them all...if u look at the syllabus it states
'...dry cell or lead-acid cell and evaluate it in comparison to: - button cell..."

it says compare it ti all of them...but you only have to do one of them not both....they must say dry or lead acid...our teacher made this clear in our trial...we were asked to specify in regards to the vanadium redox cell....its a real easy way to lose 3 or 4 marks.
