What was your favourite music of 2012? Which Albums? Singles?

My album of the year is Beach House - Bloom.

No particular song stands out.

2012 was a really shit year for music sorry...

at least it was better than 1997... (Aqua - Barbie Girl and Hanson - MMMBop) ***Shudders***

although I did notice that Hanson were playing their one hit wonder on TV once this year... (Oh god no!)

looks like 2012 is starting to really rank up with 1997

2012 was a really shit year for music sorry... at least it was better than 1997...

Purity ring, Tame Impala, Alt-J, Odesza, Clams Casino, Frank Ocean, Hammock, Jack white, Grizzly Bear, The lumineers, Mumford and Sons, Passion Pit, Grimes, Godspeed You! Black emperor, The Weeknd, Kishi Bashi, Andrew Bird x 2, Crystal Castles, Deadmau5, The Vaccines, Frightened Rabbit, Band of Horses, Two door cinema club, fun., the killers, yeasayer, imagine dragons,lord huron and a hundred others have all released great albums this year.

And besides the whole 80's were the worst years of music.

Psy - Gangnam style (although its overrated)

Then its BIGBANG's Blue and Bad Boy. Tbh music just wasn't great this year; c-pop was terrible and k-pop wasn't that great anymore.

Some of his new singles are so good to the point where they deserve to be in my top list of 2012.
Great contrast from his last two years (2011 was horrible for him)
