You can spot 'em a mile off.
You ask them to pass the salt and you get told that you haven't provided a coherent and structured arguement to back up your request.
Honestly, these people don't know when to leave the uni lingo at the gates and talk in normal voice.
Don't turn into one of these pretentious fools!!

What is the rationale behind your assertion that requesting the provision of crystalline sodium chloride in and of itself constitutes a coherent and structured argument? From which epistemoligcal school is it derived, and is it an ontologically valid argument?

Just kidding... :)

no you weren't ! :p

asking for table salt is not an argument

it is derived from no school of thinking. if in some way it was an argument of sorts, it would be ontologically valid

lol... I generally don't talk like that either, but to be honest, sometimes its the words with more than 2 syllables that best articulate what you are trying to say...

like the word 'articulate' I could have said insteas its words with more than 2 syllables that get across what you are trying to say better but, I dunno, I just like the word articulate, it makes what I am trying to say more 'cohesive' and 'succinct' :D
