How Has the author Jane Yolen modernised the fairy tale of sleeping beauty to depict human experience?
It is evident in studying the text to see that the comparisons between sleeping beauty and Briar Rose displaying human experiences like love and crushes, which us HSC Students can relate to. We see this between Becca and Stan, with death and life of gemma and the lost of the holocaust
