Business Studies vs Design and Technology (1 Viewer)

Any help and advice from either subject would be great. I picked DT but I'm still not sure. I also picked Textiles and, Mod History and VA

Both are content heavy, business is much more rote though, I'd suggest do what interests you more.

As astro said, Business is content heavy and requires a lot of rote. However, because its nature many students can easily achieve a Band 5/6. It also depends on your interests, business can be interesting, yet mind numbing boring at times. As for DT, unless you have an exceptional idea for your major and/or extremely proficient in a design discipline (i.e woodwork, architecture, textiles, graphics and media) and would enjoy that type of thing, then I would advise against it. Picking DT would set you back 3 major projects (VA, DT and textiles) for your HSC year and in my opinion, that would be suicide (although it has been done before.)
