Hi everyone. I wanted to find out what kind of cadetships there are for economics ( uni course) in sydney. Which ones are worth it, which ones are not? What do they involve? I personally always wanted to do something with hedge funds when i Finish Uni though im only in year 11 now. Please share your ideas.

per bladeys comment, they're normally offered in accounting. so you would have to major in accounting at uni.

My tip is don't bother.

Get yourself a good casual job while at uni, get some life experience, get good marks at uni and then apply for the graduate job that you really want. This is the most sensible way to fast track your career. Post high school cadetships are just a way for firms to get cheap labour. Plus they usually lock you into a certain career path that you may not want to even do by the time you graduate. Keep your options open and have fun!
