A car travelling along a straight road at 25ms^-1 is acted upon a constant force acting in the direction of motion which speeds it up to 50ms^-1 in 10 s

a. Calculate the magnitude of the car's average acceleration while force is acting.

b. Calculate the magnitude of the car's displacement car while the force is acting.

a. v=u+at
50=25+a(10)
a=2.5ms^-2

b. s=ut+0.5at^2
s=25(10)+0.5(2.5)(10^2)
s=375m

You don't need direction since it says "magnitude".
