Im in a decent selective school.

English- 10th (87ish)
English ext1 - 5th (90ish)
Maths 2u- 12th (high 80s)
Economics- 5th (90)
Ancient History- 2nd (92)
Extension History- 2nd (94)

Brackets indicate total assessment mark (after trial)

What are my chances of getting into com.law at unsw?..good, bad, average?
Or
Do I have to kill the HSC really hard?

Thanks guys

97-98

Not too sure about the "99.3" figure
But it's achievable.

+3 to +5 in every subject.
(That's what I would aim for, if I had your marks/subjects)

If you can push it that much further, +6 in your subjects :)

No problem,

aiming for mid Band 6's would get you into the 99's

go get +10 in each subject. It's just additional hours per week.. :D
he/she is already getting 90+

getting +10 would be aiming for 100 (assessment mark) in all subjects.

if he/she's on a band 6, i say +3 or +5 tops.
even one or two marks here and there will help, but +10 is asking for a lot, especially when he/she's at 90 already :)

Good point, Cyph.

Top10 in Maths/English is great,
but if you can get yourself into say, 7th or 8th ranking, if not "top5" (it sounds impossible but have a go...) then that'll increase your chances. :)

Yes, it's possible (but likely? no).

English, Maths and Econ need work, but you still have many weeks. Make hay while the sun shines. :p

lol another opponent here
i have no idea what other people are on about, but considering you are attending a selective and ranking all above Top10, THATS way enough for 99.3!!!! plus, you are doing 11units right? so math2u wont affect you that much
