Can i get Atar of 78??? (1 Viewer)

Hey all!

So I have 10 units and im doing reasonably well in all my subjects except mathematics! These are my average assessment marks and ranking

English advanced 80 12/60
Mathematics 52 15/20
Agriculture 90 1/2
Studies of Religion 82 7/20
Biology 81 9/24


Even with my dismal Maths mark (which will probably continue to be dismal) could i get an atar of at least 78 if i retain my marks for the trial and HSC?

Well, those assessment marks are heavily moderated by BOS, so its impossible to tell what ATAR you will get from them. We need your rankings and a school rank to estimate an ATAR. This guide explains estimates in more detail http://community.boredofstudies.org/showthread.php?t=279027

If you can pass the HSC maths exam in terms of raw marks you should be able to get around a mid band 4, since your other subjects should be higher i'd say getting atleast 78 ATAR is a safe bet. BUT you need to keep revising and what not ofcourse. As enoligam said it's hard for us to know how your school marks/the difficulty of exams and how your ranks translate over, especially without knowing your school rank.
