Hi, my PIP project is 'An investigation into the prevalence of masculine-centred fanfiction in television-based fandoms'. About 1,000 words are going to be dedicated to my cross-cultural aspect, gender following the concept change, which will look at the feminine-centred fanfiction written in the 'Yellowjackets' TV show fandom. Is it possible to take a group of, say, 10 fics from that fandom, gather various data on reoccuring themes, ideas etc., and compare it with the masculine-centred fanfiction of my main topic?

I did ask my teacher about this, but... she's not great at SOC in the first place and my topic is a little too niche for her to understand lol. Any help would be much appreciated!
