Chemistry: Melting pt vs. group number graph question?? (1 Viewer)

I just had my chemistry half-yearly exam and there was a question in which I had to plot a melting point vs. group number graph. There were negative numbers that I had to plot and I placed them ABOVE the line where I labelled group numbers similarly to this:

However, should the negative numbers be placed below the line where you label the independent variables (i.e. group number is aligned with '0')? >> Graph of what this looks like: http://antoine.frostburg.edu/chem/senese/101/periodic/images/meltingpoint.gif

I'm panicking at the moment so any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

I think it should be like below the x axis. Theres nothing you can do to change it though, so don't worry about it, and they might still mark you right anyways.
