I thought it was a fairly reasonable elective, certainly favoured those who had thoroughly revised the work rather than concentrating on the principles e.g. Bohr's model. Last question was a bit of a surprise (only 6 marks?), was rather surprised by the way the practical question was set out but in the end answering it wasn't hard at all I thought.

Any other thoughts?

i studied all the other tests like winkler, sulfate, nitrate, phosphate u name it.. but not permanganate :chainsaw:

but it was good i think... at least that's the question that's gonna separate those real good ppl :cool:

Yeah permanganate is in the syllabus, I wasn't there when my class did it but our chem teachers prepared a handout on how to answer a question on it which I regurgitated in the exam :).

Ahhhhhhhh....freeeeeeeddddooooommmmm is gooooooooddd :D.
