Choosing subjects (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I am currently doing Commerce as a year 10 elective. I am doing well in it ie around 85%. Would i therefore be wise to choose both economics and business studies for example?

Well you've already demonstrated some aptitude in the learning area. If you think you'll enjoy it and can keep those marks up, then go for it!

totally, i do both, and with eco, alot of them relate so it helps you learn about something, which helps for 2 subjects. I recommend anyone who has an commerce mind, do both.

If you're good at Commerce, which is essentially a basis for Eco, Business and Legal, you should do some, but probably not all, of these subjects in year 11. Obviously, only do the subjects that you enjoy, because that's the only way you'll be able to maintain study over the next two years. If you only choose one, my suggestion is Economics.
