as the title says this post is going to sound somewhat (rather, very) cliched!

there are three characters - girl A, girl B, boy

girl A and girl B are friends;
girl A and boy are friends;
girl B likes boy - and has ever since she started the school (for a year)
boy knows that girl B likes him but he has stated that he is too busy with the hsc
girl A and boy have been friends since the beginning of year 11
girl A has developed feelings for boy
girl A doesnt want to hurt girl B's feelings by telling her and girl A is too scared to tell boy about the feelings because she is scared of what he will say/the friendship may be ruined

what should girl A do?

^ no, that was not a joke
isn't it funny how cliches govern our teenage years?

girl A should come on BOS and go directly to Dreamerish via PM for a viable solution.

Furthermore, Dreamerish should copy and paste the viable solution onto a permanent thread entitled "The 1 cliched solution to all your different cliched problems".

I would have a lot less trouble reading that if you didn't put it in the "girl A, girl B" format.

Anyway, I suggest all three of them park their asses in front of their textbooks and study for another 12 days, do the HSC, then worry about such trivialities.

"Boy" looks like he has his priorities sorted.

haha, funny that you say that actually
girl A and boy are both dead set into their studies - so even if something was to happen, it wouldnt be until after the HSC

as for girl B, she's only starting year 12 now - so, as you can see.. .. i cant currently think of how to finish that ><!

anyhow, I was only wondering, but am not planning on taking any course of action (if any is taken) until post-hsc timing!

As Dolly-esque as I do when saying this: don't let a boy ruin a friendship.

Don't approach him behind your friend's back. Talk to her about it if you must, but turning this thing into a competition would be really very stupid. In the end, it's the boy who chooses which one he wants, so the two girls shouldn't worry their pretty heads off. There's not much they can do.

No she'd be like,

"Why am I wasting my time with stupid bitches who live for supre clothing, get pregnant at the age of 14, and have boyfriends that are 10 years older than they are?"

Of course, by the time she's done asking herself that question, she would've instantly read and replied with useful information to someone who has written in asking for help.

lolz..

hmm.. does boy have any idea about girl A having feelings for him?
maybe girl A should hint it to him
about the HSC i think its a load of crud no offence.
if the boy really likes girl B he wouldnt let the hsc get into his way of getting the girl
or..maybe im just overanalysing or misinterpreting.
and btw. does girl A just lyk boy because ever since girl B has liked him- something inside girl A made her feel the same way since she has known boy longer?

am i making any sense?

I think he wouldnt mind either of you. There is no need to be scared to express your feelings in hope of breaking your friendship... it all just depends on how high on his ladder you are as to how things will turn out. So if your not as hot as your friend (either A or B, I dont care) then you will have to make up for it and work harder. Who ever wins him, gets him... otherwise you can both share him ;)
