CNNN is a terrific text! They also produce an online satirical newspaper: http://www.chaser.com.au/ which they update on a regular basis. So any current affairs needing some related text, that is your man. 
I guess i can only reccomend certain episodes that relate to your text either that, you can look at how they present the truth and in this case, i would look at a few instances of this and use a few episodes.
