I did Coleridge last year...but not Alice in Wonderland. BUT, maybe you can use Coleridge's Kubla Khan and link that with A.I.W considering they both dream and enter the imaginative world? Like, Coleridge enters his 'Pleasure Dome' and comes across things he cannot experience in the rational world. While its kinda the same for Alice, who meets impossible creatures and extraordinary situations...that could also kinda be the 'escape' as in Kubla Khan, (how she finds the book her sister makes her read in the beginning of the movie).
Beh, I really don't know what I'm talking about with the connection..but Coleridge was interesting.
