What does this mean?

I mean, if you are to get accepted into combined law, do you get to choose which degree you want to combine it with? And are you guaranteed entry into your choice?

thanks for any help

Yes and yes. You pick the course you want to combine with Law at enrolment.

Fantastic, thank you!

In a related question, if you get into a B Arts (Media & Comm) degree (in which the cutoff is about 98.45?) is it difficult to transfer into a B Arts (media & comm)/B Laws degree after the first year? I hear the minimum UAI for transfers into law is about 96.

And in an even more obscure question, what if you get into the media degree via access scheme, say with a mark like 95? Will this then affect your chances to transfer into law because your UAI is considered too low, or will they factor in the access scheme factor and treat your 95 as if you had achieved the 98.45 cutoff?

Im full of questions :D

thanks for the help so far!!

They generally advise that you need a UAI of 96 and a Distinction average in your first year of uni to transfer into Sydney law. It's possible to get in with a somewhat lower UAI, but you'd need even better uni marks to make up for it. The exact marks needed vary a bit from year to year, though.

Don't know anything about the access schemes. Someone else may.

any bonus points from an acess scheme don't carry over if you want to transfer, after first year they simply look at your UAI.
