common subjects for engineering (1 Viewer)

i have lots of friends doing engineering courses like me of different types at UNSW including software, electrical etc., biomed etc. and i wanted 2 kno whether we would have many common subjects?

are the buildings located close 2 each other etc.?

Some first year subjects will be similar, maths in particular (and computing for some of those engineering ones). But as you get into later years when you specialise you probably won't have any common subjects.

The mechanical, electrical, and computing engineering buildings are all close to each other in mid campus. Biomed is in upper campus. But don't worry about where the buildings are - if you're an elec eng student it doesn't mean you're going to live in the elec eng building. Alot of the times it just means the people who have offices there belong to that school/faculty. Rooms and lecture theatres are used all over uni for many different programs.
