Ok, there's some terminology that you need to learn now that you're starting uni. A "course" is not Computing Engineering. A "course" is a subject/unit such as MATH1141 or COMP1917 or PHYS1131 or ENGG1000. They are called courses. "Computing Engineering" is a "major" under the "program" called "Bachelor of Engineering". The layout of courses is a "plan", which is also your major, Computing Engineering (although you might have a specialisation, but not important right now).

Notice in your screenshot that below the courses field there's ACCT1102, MATH5102 and CHEM4555, those are courses (subjects/units).

Well look at the Handbook.

COMP3222 Digital Circuits and Systems - requires: COMP1927 or ELEC1111 or ELEC1112.

COMP3601 Design Project A - requires: COMP2121 or COMP2821.

COMP4920 Management and Ethics - requires being in stage two of a CSE program (i.e. 2nd year).

ELEC1111 Elec & Telecomm Eng - only available in semester 2.

ELEC2133 Analogue Electronics - requires: ELEC2134.

MATH2099 Mathematics 2B - requires: MATH1231 or MATH1241 or MATH1251. Exclusions: MATH2501, MATH2601, and MATH2509.

MATH1231 Mathematics 1B - requires: MATH1131 or MATH1141.

PHYS1221 Physics 1B - requires: PHYS1121 or PHYS1131 or PHYS1141.

And these are the courses i have added. View attachment 31652
You only choose courses for 1 semester. The typical load is 24 UOC or 4 courses. You cannot enrol in that many courses anyway.

I'll make it easy for you. Look here: http://www.handbook.unsw.edu.au/undergraduate/plans/2015/COMPBH3707.html

You are in first year, so stage 1. A stage 1 or level 1 course typically begins with '1' in its course code, e.g. ENGG1000.

So looking in that list, there's COMP1917, ELEC1111, ENGG1000, MATH1131/1141, MATH1231/1241, PHYS1121/1131, and PHYS1221/1231. So from these, look at the ones you can actually do.

MATH1231/1241 requires you do have done MATH1131/1141, and PHYS1221/1231 requires you do have done PHYS1121/1131. ELEC1111 is only offered in semester 2.

So you are left with: COMP1917, ENGG1000, MATH1131/1141 and PHYS1121/1131.

Now, you have the option of doing normal MATH or higher MATH, and normal PHYS or higher PHYS. You only need to do one of them, i.e. MATH1131 OR MATH1141; and PHYS1121 OR PHYS1131.

Sorry guys for my stupidity. Never experienced anything like this before.

Thanks soo much for the help!

So I should remove all the COMP3211,COMP3231,MATH2069... and stuff. i.e. only keep ones with '1' at the start?
