When people refer to standard English and general maths as "low scaling subjects", are they referring to the scaling/moderating of the assessment marks?
Also, suppose I'm sitting on 65% assessment average (without any moderating or anything) for all my subject AFTER trials: (gen maths/35, standard English/35, physics/50, modern history/30 and bio/140) and my ranking for all are in the bottom third except for general maths and standard English which both are in the top 5/35. And my school is ranked in the top 30. If I actually pull up heaps in the external exams and ACTUALLY try for the exams, do you think I manage to hit 87 HSC mark for each subject?
Btw, when bos moderates the assessment marks, do they refer to the school ranking as an indication to how hard the assessments were?
