How many conics formulas are you learning? i went into trials knowing none and they gave us this dodgy right hyperbola question and asked for the focus of it. i know you can work this out but isnt it just easier remembering what most of the formuals are?

focus, directrix, e forumula, chord of contact and asymptotes.

Of yes, don't forget the separate formulas for the rectangular hyperbola, especially for the ones that are turned fourty five degrees, like xy = 2.
